Asaan hosted an awards ceremony celebrating the winners and participants of the “Ana Wa Turathi” competition, organized in collaboration with Riyadh Schools. Launched in early 2026, the competition invited students to explore Saudi heritage through creative storytelling inspired by objects from the Funoon Al Turath and Asaan collections.
Over a three-month period, students submitted original stories reflecting their understanding of heritage and its connection to their lives and communities. Entries were evaluated by a specialized judging panel based on a set of established criteria, with outstanding submissions recognized during the ceremony.
Held at Riyadh Schools in Misk City, the event brought together students, parents, educators, and representatives from both organizations to celebrate the creativity, talent, and enthusiasm demonstrated by the participants. The ceremony also highlighted the important role young people play in preserving, interpreting, and sharing Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage with future generations.
